Centerpiece

Bureau V was commissioned by Pin-Up, the Magazine for Architectural Entertainment, to design a quick, cheap, and novel centerpiece for a dinner of fifty people. The installation, a combination of found birch branches and finished birch lumber, juxtaposes rough and finished elements in an improvised tessellated structure that is painted primer grey and punctuated with fresh orchids.
